Overview

HuzAgent.ai helps businesses capture and manage leads, bookings, support requests, restaurant messages, quote requests, and related customer inquiries. This policy explains how we collect, use, and protect information when you use our website, hosted pages, forms, widgets, automations, Inbox, Calendar, integrations, and related services.

Information We Collect

We may collect account details, contact details, workspace information, automation settings, customer submissions, booking details, support messages, integration settings, usage logs, execution history, and technical information such as IP address, browser type, device data, and page activity.

How We Use Information

We use information to provide the service, process requests, run automations, prepare AI outputs, store Inbox history, send notifications, support integrations, improve product reliability, secure accounts, provide customer support, and communicate about the service.

AI Processing

Customer requests may be processed by AI providers to classify intent, prepare summaries, draft replies, detect priority, or generate next actions. If a workspace uses bring-your-own-key settings, usage may be handled directly by the connected provider under that provider's terms.

Integrations

When you connect tools such as Google Calendar, Google Sheets, email, Slack, Zapier, Make, n8n, or webhooks, HuzAgent uses the connection only to perform the actions configured by your workspace.

For Google integrations, HuzAgent may use authorized access to check calendar availability, create or update booking events, export request records to Google Sheets (using the per-file drive.file scope, limited to spreadsheets you explicitly select or create), and show connected integration status inside your workspace. HuzAgent does not use Google user data for advertising and does not sell Google user data.

HuzAgent.ai’s use and transfer of information received from Google APIs to any other app will adhere to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements. Google user data is never used to train, fine-tune, or improve generalized or third-party AI models, and is never sent to any third-party AI provider. See our Limited Use disclosure for details.

Data Sharing

We do not sell personal information. We may share information with service providers, AI providers, integration providers, legal authorities when required, and business successors if the service is transferred or reorganized.

Data Security

We use reasonable technical and organizational safeguards to protect information. No online system is completely secure, so businesses should avoid submitting unnecessary sensitive information through automations or forms.

Controller and Processor Roles (GDPR)

For personal data of our own account holders (your name, email, billing, and usage data), HuzAgent.ai acts as the data controller. For personal data that a workspace collects about its own leads, customers, and contacts through forms, widgets, and automations, the workspace is the controller and HuzAgent.ai acts as a processor, handling that data only on the workspace's instructions. Workspace owners are responsible for having a lawful basis and appropriate notices for the data they collect.

Legal Bases for Processing

Where the GDPR applies, we rely on: contract (to provide the service you sign up for), legitimate interests (to secure, maintain, and improve the service), consent (for non-essential cookies and optional communications), and legal obligation (for tax, accounting, and compliance).

Your Rights

Depending on your location, you may have the right to access, correct, delete, export (portability), restrict, or object to the processing of your personal data, and to withdraw consent at any time. Account holders can export their data and permanently delete their account and associated data from within the app, or by contacting us. If you are the subject of data submitted by one of our workspaces, please contact that business (the controller); we will assist them as their processor.

Data Retention

We retain personal data for as long as your account is active and as needed to provide the service, then delete or anonymize it within a reasonable period, except where longer retention is required for legal, tax, or security reasons. Deleting your account removes your workspaces, automations, leads, and related records.

Sub-processors

We use trusted service providers to operate HuzAgent.ai, including: DigitalOcean (application hosting, managed PostgreSQL database, and file/object storage), Paddle (payments and Merchant of Record), Google (Gemini AI processing and, when connected, Calendar/Sheets), and the email provider used to send transactional email. Workspaces that enable bring-your-own-key use their own chosen AI provider directly. These providers process data only to deliver their part of the service.

International Transfers

Your data may be processed in countries outside your own, including the United States. Where required, we rely on appropriate safeguards such as Standard Contractual Clauses for transfers of personal data out of the EEA/UK.

Complaints

If you are in the EEA or UK and believe we have not handled your data properly, you have the right to lodge a complaint with your local data protection supervisory authority.
